How do I unscramble letters into words?▼
Type your letters and press Unscramble. Every valid word you can make from those letters is listed, grouped by length with its Scrabble score.
Can I use blank tiles or wildcards?▼
Yes. Type ? or * for each blank tile. Blanks can stand for any letter and score 0 points, as in Scrabble.
Which dictionary does it use?▼
A combined list of about 184,000 words: the public-domain ENABLE word-game list plus British, Australian and Canadian spellings from the SCOWL spelling project (so colour, favourite, centre, organise and aluminium are all included). It is not an official tournament dictionary such as Collins or NWL, which are copyrighted and cannot be used here, so a few very obscure tournament-only words (for example zho or qin) will be missing, and a few words may be accepted that your game rejects. Always check a disputed word in your game's own dictionary.
How do I solve a Wordle or crossword pattern?▼
Open Pattern and Positional Filters and set Starts with, Contains or Ends with to narrow the list.
Is the score the same as on a real Scrabble board?▼
It uses standard English tile values. Board bonuses such as double word squares and the 50-point bonus for using all seven tiles are not included.
Is my data sent to a server?▼
No. The unscrambler runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded, stored or tracked. Once the page has loaded it keeps working without a connection.
