How many days are there between two dates?▼
Pick a start and an end date. The calculator shows total days, business days, weekend days and the same span in weeks and days. Tick the box to count the end date as a full day as well.
What counts as a business day?▼
Monday to Friday. Public holidays are not excluded because they differ by country and region, so subtract those yourself if they apply.
How do I add or subtract business days from a date?▼
Switch to the add or subtract tab, choose the starting date and direction, enter a whole number of days from 1 to 10,000 and choose calendar days or business days only.
Does it handle leap years?▼
Yes. February 29 is handled correctly, for example 31 January 2024 plus 30 days is 1 March 2024.
What does a negative result mean?▼
If the end date is before the start date, the results are shown as negative numbers so you can see the direction as well as the length.
Is my data sent to a server?▼
No. The calculator runs entirely in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded, stored or tracked. Once the page has loaded it keeps working without a connection.
